Create a story with a photo (setting)

"Whenever I come face to face with the swimming pool, the thought of this incident crippled me with fear." I always had a phobia of swimming. This happened because of this particular incident and it still frightened me till today. The luminous blue colour of the pool made me feel dizzy. And the incident vividly popped up in my mind once again...

  1. The setting makes the reader feel bored as this setting is very commonly used in compositions. I think that the story would be about the personal having a terrifying incident with water. But I think that at the end, the personal would overcome all odds and learn to swim in the end.

  2. The setting evokes a little bit of suspense in the reader. But as Chenyi just said, this setting is quite common in compositions. This story would most probably be a flashback where the writer met with a drowning incident last time and will soon learn to overcome it at the end of the story.

  3. The story will probably be a flaskback of the persona which he met with a drowning experience that Jerome mentioned before, the setting was really boring, everyone could imagine what will happened next, drowned, rescued, sent to hospital etc.

  4. This is the story about the incident happened in the past. However, just like what Jerome said, this type of story is quite common and can be seen in many essays. Overall, the setting is decent, it is able to convey your story. The story is most likely about the persona drowned in the water, then he was rescued and saved by a brave guy which also advised the persona to be careful in the pool next time.
